Terms

These terms cover this website and the products we run: the sites we build and host (psites), the plife protocol, and UTE Gallery. Like our privacy policy, they describe what we actually do rather than what a template says we might. Work we do for a client is governed first by the proposal we sign with that client; these terms fill in whatever that proposal does not cover.
This site and these products are operated by Unstoppable Trio LTD, trading as Unstoppable Trio, with an office in Hong Kong. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means whoever is using the site or the product. By browsing this site, contacting us through it, or using one of our products, you accept these terms.
We design and build websites, mobile apps, and business automation, and we run our own products — the Unstoppable Trio Engine (UTE) and UTWF, psites, plife, and pmail. This site itself is informational: it describes that work and gives you a way to reach us. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, or a commitment to take on a project.
A psite is a website built and hosted on our own stack rather than assembled from a template. If we build one for you, you own it: the content, the domain, and the business it represents are yours, and you decide what goes on it.
You are responsible for what you publish, or ask us to publish, on your psite — that you have the right to use it and that it is lawful and accurate. We are responsible for the platform: keeping the site up, applying updates, and fixing what breaks. We may suspend a site we host if it is being used unlawfully, has been compromised, or is putting our infrastructure or other clients at risk — and we will tell you when we do, and why.
plife is our protocol for decentralized social: your site publishes its own updates, and other sites subscribe to them the way a podcast app subscribes to RSS. Publishing through plife is publishing in public. Once another server has fetched an update, that copy is outside our control and we cannot delete it for you — we can remove it from your site and stop serving it onward, and that is the whole of what we can do. We run some plife servers, but the protocol is open: we are not responsible for other people's servers, clients, or the content they carry.
UTE Gallery works with Google Drive. It lets you upload pictures into your own Google Drive so your website or psite can serve them: your Drive folder is the gallery, and changing the folder changes the site. It is optional, and using it means the following.
Whatever you send us or publish through our products — files, copy, images, feedback — stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to do the work: to store it, process it, and display it as part of the service. Keep your own credentials safe, and tell us quickly if you think an account of yours has been compromised.
Do not use this site or our products to break the law, to infringe anyone else's rights, to send spam or malware, to harass people, or to attack, probe, or overload our infrastructure. Do not scrape or resell our platform, and do not use the contact form for unsolicited marketing. We may refuse or end service over any of this.
Project work starts with a written proposal covering scope, price, and schedule. Once accepted, that proposal is the agreement — where it conflicts with these terms, the proposal wins. Quotes are valid for the period stated in them, and prices exclude third-party costs such as domains, hosting beyond what is quoted, licensed fonts, stock imagery, and payment processing fees. Invoices are due on the terms printed on them, and hosting or maintenance continues for as long as it is paid for.
The design, code, text, and images on this site are ours unless credited otherwise. Our own technology — UTE, UTWF, psite-js, plife, pmail, and UTE Gallery — stays ours: an engagement gives you a licence to use what we build on that technology, not ownership of the platform underneath it. Work made specifically for you, such as your site's design and its content, transfers to you on full payment. Third-party logos and trademarks belong to their owners; client names shown in our work identify the projects, and do not imply an endorsement.
Our products depend on services we do not operate — Cloudflare, Google, Brevo, payment processors, domain registrars, and others. We choose them carefully, but their outages, policy changes, and terms are outside our control. Links from this site to sites we do not run, including live client projects, are not endorsements of their content.
We work hard to keep what we host up and correct, and we fix what breaks. We do not promise that this site or any product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a purpose we have not discussed with you. Except where a signed agreement says otherwise, everything here is provided as-is. Any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded are unaffected.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or lost business arising from this site or our products. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the service concerned in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using this site at any time, and you can end an ongoing service by giving us the notice set out in your agreement. We may suspend or end a service for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where we are legally required to. If a hosted service ends, we will give you a reasonable window to take your content with you, and we will help you move it.
We may update these terms as our products change. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed. For a material change to a service you are paying for, we will tell you directly rather than leave you to notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Hong Kong courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — unless a signed agreement with you says otherwise.
